The modular nature of Jacques offers exceptional versatility. You are given the freedom to truly make it your own event. A variety of easily combinable spaces are available, all of which can be transformed into the ideal setting for both private and business events.
On the ground floor, three spaces are available. The beautifully vaulted cellars of Jacques can also be used for a spectacular event, even into the early hours. In addition, Jacques features a stunning inner courtyard, ensuring an experience that exceeds expectations.

Jacques’ Room
Do you see the neon lights? Then you are in the right place. This quirky, inspiring and inviting space is highly flexible and suitable for a wide range of setups. From walking dinners and showcases to seated dinners and lounge settings: you bring the people, we bring the style.

Jacques’ Room Bar
Located next to Jacques’ Room is our bar. Both spaces are connected by a wide door and can therefore only be reserved together. Whether you start with a refreshing cocktail on our quirky stools or end your event with a fine glass of wine or digestif, our bar invites you to indulge, literally and figuratively.

Jacques’ Courtyard
An oasis of calm in the vibrant heart of Antwerp, that is Jacques’ courtyard. This inspiring outdoor space can host up to 250 guests and is the perfect setting for receptions, walking dinners, presentations or networking moments. It can also be seamlessly combined with one or more other spaces.

Jacques’ Basement
In the basement of Jacques, the lights shine just a little brighter, with two unique hotspots available. Fully customisable and equipped with a sound system and high-tech facilities, this space is ready for an epic party, a compelling presentation or a refined walking dinner.

Jacques’ Club
Hidden away in the cellars of Jacques lies a true hidden gem: a fully equipped club! This space provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable party, an edgy event or an exclusive gathering. Energetic, atmospheric and surprisingly versatile. You bring the vibe, Jacques takes care of the rest.

Petit Jacques
From meetings and private dinners to workshops and networking moments: Petit Jacques is located on the ground floor adjacent to the inviting courtyard, has its own private entrance and can be fully privatised and personalised for groups of up to 24 guests. A smaller room for a grand event!

OUR HISTORY
Painting the picture of Jacob ‘Jacques’ Jordaens
Jacob Jordaens (1593–1678) was a painter from the renowned Antwerp School, alongside illustrious names such as Peter Paul Rubens and Anthony van Dyck. Interestingly, the painter’s given name was actually Jacques. In the baptismal register, it was phonetically recorded as Jac, a spelling he also used to sign his paintings. In the 19th century, his signature was mistakenly expanded to Jacob.
The Jordaens House is the childhood home of Jacques Jordaens. The building is located around a courtyard in the heart of Antwerp’s historic city centre, between Hoogstraat and Reyndersstraat. Together, the charming courtyard and the historic building form Jacques, a tribute to its original owner and a unique event venue in Antwerp. Ready to discover this hidden gem?

Accessibility
Jacques is very easy to reach, whether by public transportation or by car. The Groenplaats metro station is within walking distance. And if you’re coming by car, you can park in one of the public parking lots in the area, such as the Brabo and Groenplaats parking lots.
